Following the one of the largest leveraged buyouts in history, Energy Future Holdings filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2015 in an effort to clear over $40 billion in debt.
Southwest Airlines challenged the decades-old Wright Amendment, which prohibited it from flying beyond its regional roots. American Airlines pushed back on Southwest, asserting that it was able to fly from the larger, more modern DFW Airport.
